The MSTRPLAN (TMP)
CONCEPT: How apparel can be a platform for authorship and a vehicle for cultural commentary.
The MSTRPLAN (2012-2017) was an independent art and apparel project I founded and led from concept through execution. The project used clothing, printed matter, and accessories as a medium to explore the powerful, the corrupt, and the clandestine, turning societal commentary into wearable graphics and collections. Each release functioned as a self-contained narrative world, developed through original illustration, visual language, and messaging. The MSTRPLAN emphasized cohesion across products, creating collections that felt unique and intentional.
I was responsible for every aspect of the brand, including concept development, illustration, visual identity, production direction, and marketing. This hands-on approach allowed ideas to move fluidly from abstract themes to tangible products, while maintaining clarity, consistency, and a strong point of view.
CONCLUSION: The MSTRPLAN represents the foundation of my creative practice: a self-initiated platform where I developed my voice as both a conceptual thinker and an executor. It reflects my belief that design can do more than decorate products; it can question systems, spark dialogue, and create cultural moments that live beyond the object itself.
