Packaging standard designed for ULTIMATES! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and ULTIMATES! TMNT 2003. Manhole cover illustrations were created for the original waves, presented on the outer sleeve of the packaging with a glossy finish and embossed details.
Original waves took inspiration from Playmates TMNT figures and consisted of an outer sleeve with manhole cover illustration, and a window box with a unique sewer brick pattern. The colors and sewer details were changed to represent the allegiance of each character and bios were provided for each character.
The TMNT 2003 packaging took inspiration from the original Playmates toys as well, and saw simplification through the removal of the outer sleeve and character bios.
